Thirroul Medical Practice welcomes new patients.

Consultations at Thirroul Medical Practice are by appointment. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons we have a walk in clinic from 2pm until 4.30pm, no appointment necessary.  Saturday mornings from 9am until 11.30am is also a walk in clinic with no appointments taken.

We endeavour to give all patients appointments with their Doctor of choice but, unfortunately, this is not always possible. If you are unable to see your preferred Doctor at the time requested you will be offered an appointment with another Doctor from our team. Be assured that quality care will be provided by one of our other doctors, your medical files can be accessed through our medical software.

To make an appointment please call the practice and speak with one of our reception staff or use our online booking system, HotDoc. Standard appointments are 10 minutes long. If you would like a longer consultation please advise the reception staff at the time the appointment is made. You will be billed accordingly.

Doctor availability can be found on our Doctors page.

Saturday coverage is rotational.

Doctor availability is subject to change, please confirm with reception.

Waiting Times

Unavoidable delays sometimes occur which may result in the Doctors running behind. If this is a concern to you please feel free to call the practice to see if the Doctor is running to time.

Urgent Appointments
If you or a member of your family requires an urgent appointment on the day, an appointment will be offered to you . This cannot always be with the doctor of your choice. It is the policy of the Practice not to double book a Doctor when there are appointments available with another Doctor from our team.

Home Visits
On occasion, a patient may not be able to attend the surgery due to illness or injury. Please contact the practice to determine the necessity of and the time, should a home visit be required. The geographical boundaries for visits are Clifton to Woonona.

After Hours
Urgent after hours visits are provided by the Wollongong Radio Doctor. All patients are Bulk Billed for this service and a report of the consultation is sent promptly to the practice to keep your doctor informed of your condition.
